3 Ideas For A Romantic Valentine's Day At Home

Valentine’s Day falls during the middle of the week this year, and most of us don’t have the luxury of avoiding our job the next morning. Rather than battling other amorous couples for restaurant reservations, use these three tips to have a relaxing and romantic night in with the one you love.

Start With Cocktails

Nothing heats up the evening like a good cocktail. Instead of the typical martini, spice things up with a pomegranate cocktail. Simply combine and shake up 6 oz. White Ginger and Pomegranate tea, 4 oz. pomegranate liqueur, 2 oz. vodka, and 1 cup of crushed ice in a cocktail shaker. Pour into martini glasses, and toast to love and happiness together.

Take A Hot Bath

Follow up your cocktails with a soothing dip in the tub together (or alone...more room for you!). Make it special by using a tub tea soak with Balance tea. Place one of our iced tea bags filled with about one ounce of tea into the bath and allow the luxurious aroma of roses, peppermint and ginger to fill the room. An added bonus? The chamomile prepares you for cuddling by softening your skin. If you want to take the romance factor up another notch, sprinkle rose petals into the water.

Give & Receive A Massage

Nothing says 'I love you' like a good massage. Lavish your significant other with a rub down using a fragrant massage oil. Blend up a homemade oil infused with our Serenity tea. Place half of a cup of grapeseed or sesame oil into a glass container, then pour in two tablespoons of tea. Cover the container and allow it to sit in a window for two or three days. When you're ready to massage, strain out the tea, cut the infused oil with another half cup of uninfused oil, and prepare yourself for a lovely ending to your V Day.
